“When I was in India, I observed that many people there are looking to the West, thinking that its high standard of material living is the key to happiness. But here in the West, I see more and more people are looking towards India – to her saints and her scriptures – for a solution to life’s problems. Where, then, is the answer to be found? Sri Paramahansa Yogananda said that the ideal civilization will come when there is a balance between spiritual and material development, as was in ancient India.”

 Sri Paramahansaji said: ‘If at this moment you could completely calm your body, your thoughts, and your emotions, you would instantly become aware of your true self, the Soul, and of your great body of the universe throbbing with the joy of God. The soul would be established in its own state. Isn’t it strange that the joy of God is within you and you cannot feel it? The reason you do not know His bliss is that you are intoxicated with your ego feeling (body consciousness).’”

“Don’t forget your divine heritage of India’s spiritual wealth. It is an invaluable contribution to the world because whatever role one plays in the great drama of life, it makes a tremendous difference whether he or she is functions from a center of inner peace or centre of inner restlessness and anxiety. Yoga bestows that inner peace.

I remember Mr. James J. Lynn, one of the greatest American disciples of Sri Paramahansa Yogananda. He started in life as a poor farm boy; but he worked hard, studied hard, and eventually became a multimillionaire, one of the outstanding business leaders in the world. He said to me, “When I reached that point, I was a totally frustrated man. I had thought money could give me that happiness, but nothing seemed to satisfy me. I lived in a state of nervousness, a state of strain, an inward state of uncertainty. Then I met Sri Paramahansa Yogananda and started to practice Yoga. By following His instruction, I have gained calmness, peace, joy, and a sense of security that cannot come to anyone until he has found the true security of the soul.” Thus Mr. Lynn not only reached a pinnacle of material success but also the pinnacle of spiritual success. That is why He said,” Of all the achievements of the West, nothing can compare with the gift of India to the world – The royal science of Yoga.”

"When I was in Delhi, I went with some members to the Birla mandir. There I observed an old women so bend with age that she could hardly walk. Yet very slowly climbing the steps to the upper part of the temple where there is a large image of the Lord in the form of Krishna, she prostrated herself before the image touching the feet of Lord Krishna. It was a deeply moving sight.”

The last time I was in India, one of our American monks had to do some errands in Calcutta. Returning in the evening to our ashram in Dakshineshwar, he heard devotional chanting coming from a building he passed. So he asked a man, “What ashram is this?” And the answer was,” This is not an ashram; these are army barracks.” Now, where else in the world can you find soldiers spending their evenings singing to God?

That spirit of devotion to God is the true heritage from India.

Sri Paramahansaji told us that for many incarnations we may have worshiped God in an outer way – and that is good. Owning to the good accrued, a devotee is then lead to yoga, the most direct way to God. By interiorizing our energy and consciousness, we can worship Him on the altar of spirit within where He is always waiting for us. “Finding God within,” Paramahansaji tells us, “we will find Him without in all people and in all conditions.”

So once more I would like to say: Don’t forget your divine heritage; because what India has given to mankind, no other country has given. It is the greatest key to happiness and ultimate fulfilment.”

Mothering God - Harbans Ma

Love for God can take different forms and God returns His love to His children in a unique variety of ways. The scriptures say that it is God Himself who has taken each individual form to experience the varieties of His infinite nature through the course of life and self realisation.. thus no two souls will have the same experiences in their path towards God. The Love and Bliss felt by each will have its own sweet uniqueness..

As a child, once when in a neighboring aunts house, i heard my Mom and aunt speak about a certain lady who lived at a distance from our place. Even though i was more busy playing games i overheard a few things  - one, that this lady was quite old and a bit on the heavier side, so could hardly walk well; second, she had a child who always stuck to her wherever she went. The child was a handful; the little thing would insist that this lady take him along everywhere. He seemed to be about a  year and a half or two years old yet was demanding enough to insist that this lady carry him everywhere she went. He had many childish demands and would expect this lady to fulfill them.. no one else should.

I would have forgotten all this quickly but for the fact that i sensed a certain amount of reverence and awe these women showed while talking about this matter. This was no idle gossip. Curious, i went up to mom and asked her what was about this lady.. why couldn't she discipline this child? I myself was about 10 -11 years old then and  never troubled my parents and knowing that this lady was old and i was concerned for her.

My mom understood at my intent and explained that this was no ordinary relation.. it was extraordinary. The women, old as she was, had asked for this 'trouble' and despite the problems she faced, she couldn't live without these troubles.

The child on the other hand was no ordinary child either. He was Gopal.

Mom went quite hoping i'd understand. 

I didn't. 

I just sensed the reverence with which she said this, so i asked if i knew the child and if i had seen Him in the neighborhood? Mom replied that i knew the child. This Gopal was baby Krishna.

I let that sink in. She further explained that this lady named Harbans Ma, who lived about 50 meters away from our house; was a great devotee of God. She had quietly undertaken several spiritual disciplines at the end of which she had received this divine boon.

I was stunned to say the least and of all the questions i could ask, i remember asking if she would take me to see the baby and if he was still blue in color. She replied, sadly yet gently, that no one could see Him save Harbans Ma. He was invisible to the eyes of other souls. In fact many considered this whole thing a sham and even spoke ill of her. But a few souls believed that she was a true saint.

We didnt speak after that. These facts were perhaps too much for me to take, but i remember being greatly troubled by them. In a months time i returned to my boarding school for half a year. All through i thought of this women and the child. Certain features about this incredible story amazed me.

Firstly it was hard to believe that a saintly lady of this caliber was living amongst us. I always thoughts true saints to belong to the distant unknown past and all that there was left in this modern 21st century were their fake versions. It seemed highly odd that this incredible soul lived in such an ordinary place amongst ordinary people.

Secondly i was troubled at the thought that if this lady, who lived a life just like any other ordinary human, could reach such heights didnt that mean that each one of us was capable of the same? But as i looked at the lives most of us lived i did not see anything there which would take us to higher goals. Now my parents were pious people. They worshiped God in our house everyday. Every morning we children woke to my fathers voice of Veda chanting in a fashion that he had learned from his Gurukul. He was the only person i knew who would meditate. Yet i knew that it required extraordinary effort to realise God, and i didnt know anyone else who was making such efforts. It made me look at our lives and feel that something big was lacking. It made me restless.

Finally something about the relation of this sweet old lady and a little mischievous child stirred my heart. Of the two, i, a boy of eleven, would relate more with that old lady and mentally experience what it would be like to have a sweet little Krishna play around and trouble you. I always loved little children and this added to my yearning.

Somewhere it struck me as to what a fool i had been. Having heard that the child couldnt been seen by anyone i had just given up, not ever thinking to go meet Harbans Ma. But now i was thousands of miles away. So i waited patiently for my next vacations. Amongst the first things i did when i reached home was to ask mom to take me to her. My mother sadly mentioned that Harbans Ma was no more.

Harbans Ma though a householder, did have a disciple by the name Sahu. Mother took me to her. I was at a loss of words and didnt know what to ask so i sat quietly. But observing the gentle nature of the disciple it was easy to make out what an elevated soul Harbans Ma had been. But here is what little i learned of this extraordinary soul who mothered God.

Harbans Ma was a great devotee. Once in a state of devotion she locked herself inside a room for 3 days refusing to get into the world unless she met the Divine. God answered her prayers for not only did she glimpse Him, but he took the form of this little child Krishna and was ever visible to her.

This Krishna was just as sweet and naughty as the Bhagavadam mentions Him to be. He wouldnt let Harbans Ma do her household work but would keep playing around her, demanding attention, making her run around doing all sorts of errands for him. Often she would get tired and even angry and scold Him. The child would then weep and eventually fall asleep. She would feel sorry but the next moment the child would be at His mischievous best.. Whenever she stepped out, the Baby insisted on coming along. He also insisted that she carry him. Although invisible to others, Harbans Ma could apparently feel the weight of the child and would feel tired when she reached her destination. Other women in whose house she would come to, stated that physically she showed signs of exhaustion of having carried a baby. Despite this even when she would sit on the floor to talk to these ladies, the Baby would often come up from behind and jump on her back, playing with her, demanding attention, asking her to now leave and return home.

While doing chores of the house the Baby would ever be playing around. When cutting vegetables she would set aside a few vegetables for the Baby to play with. At night the Baby would sleep alongside her always.

The yogi's and rishi's realise God in a variety of ways. I had always read that God elevated such worthy souls to His level and how their lives were filled with Bliss, love and wisdom, until at one time they merged in Him. But this was such a unique case where the Impersonal God took on a personal form for the sake of one devotee and lived with her to bless her with joy. What a mysterious and joyous grace! However this was all i could remember or find about Harbans Ma. Not much else is known by anyone else.

With passing time i forgot all this and as i grew i even doubted many of the things that i remembered. But a few days back i had gone to dakshineshwar for Guru Poornima. There i picked a book about the lives of a few people who happened to live around the time of Sri Ramamkrishna Paramahansa. Amongst them was this lady named Gopal Ma who, incredibly, underwent the same experiences as Harbans Ma. Despite having lived in a remote place over a century ago, some devotee had had the sense and wisdom to record a few details of her life. Reading about her life (which i will mention in the next note) gave me a good understanding of such spiritual experience.

I realised that along with names like Ma Yashoda, Kaushalya, Devaki, Eashwaramba, Mary there are many other names of whom the world might never know. I wonder how many of such souls have graced the earth,  hidden from worldly eyes, yet ever awake in the Divine.

Food and Health in the Higher Dimensions.

“ First of all, none of us know any weakness or dis­ease of any kind in our physical bodies. In our belief system, we know that our bodies were created as perfect and wondrous machines that were meant to live for thousands of years without any sign of weakness, aging or dying. All of our people can and do immortalize their physical bodies without much effort. We have fully embraced immortality and none of our people look to be over 40 years of age, though they may be 15,000 years old and more. Some of the folks here are over 30,000 years of age but look to be 35. We have no hospitals, nursing homes, nurses, doctors, dentists, health insurance or anything of that kind.

When we eat, we eat only the purest, high-energy vibra­tion food we can produce, totally organic and totally bal­anced with rich minerals that keep our bodies eternally strong and youthful. 98% of the food you eat is altered and made toxic with artificial chemicals such as preservatives, artificial food enhancers, herbicides, pesticides, ultra pas­teurization, etc.

Most of the food you eat is poorly grown and devoid of life force.

By the time you eat it, it is already old, altered and de­pleted of its natural nutrients and possesses little, if any, life force.

What you eat and how you eat it is not conducive to main­taining healthy, strong physical bodies in a state of immortality. Begin to read the ingredients on the labels of all food you put in your mouth and you will start noticing how artificial and synthetic your food is.

The creation of your physical bodies is so awesome; we remind you not to take them for granted. Your physical body is your tool of evolu­tion for your incarnation. It is your holy temple and you should consider it worthy of the greatest care and love.

The illnesses or diseases you are experiencing with your physical bodies are nothing more than mirrors of your life-styles and consciousness.

No wonder your bodies start aging shortly after the age of 30 years. No wonder that by the time you reach 60 or soon­er, most of you are plagued with several health problems, and you are looking forward to living on your retirement check or social security. The majority of the surface popula­tion do not live past the age of 90. The constitution of your bodies is already weakened at birth by generations upon generations of poor eating hab­its, stressful lives and mandatory vaccinations.

Why not cherish your bodies and give them what they re­ally need instead of looking to some other source to provide you with band-aid solutions that are so very temporary? There is no real healing outside of self. It is best that you make your own discoveries when it comes to nourish­ing and nurturing your bodies. Notice, I use the word nur­turing. Yes, your bodies, especially on the surface, require much more nurturing and loving than you presently give yourselves.

Return to nature, dear ones; it will not fail you. Your emo­tional overload also affects deeply the state of your physical wellness. Your lack of exercise, lack of fresh air, the level of toxicity that many of you subject the body to at work and your stress level all contribute to the breakdown of your bodies. Thousands of you world-wide, work in airtight buildings, breathe recycled air all day long while your bodies sit in front of a computer and /or a desk with a telephone in your hands. By the time you come home, you are too tired to exercise or make a “real meal” for your­selves, and rely too often on lifeless processed microwaved dinners.

In addition, have a look at the liquids you put into your mouths. You drink almost exclusively waters containing harmful substances such as synthetic chlorine, fluoride and other water decontamination chemicals. 95% of your water comes out of pipes and is contaminated in many ways. Check where your water source comes from and what is done to it to make it supposedly “safe” and drinkable. Though these waters may be considered safe and drinkable by your standards, they no longer hold any healing or reju­venation energies.

Think of how much coffee, soda, beer and alcohol of all kinds and other synthetic drinks are sold and consumed around the world each day. Your bodies need to be cleansed and purified on a regular basis. Pure, crystalline, “non-adulterated” water is what is required for you to drink daily in order to maintain your body in a constant state of wellness.

All illnesses and diseases are caused by genetic, nutritional, mental and emo­tional imbalances and toxicity. All this can be changed quite easily with a little more enlightenment and will­ingness to honor your body and your incarnation. The labels that your medical establishment gives diseases are relative. They only represent the acknowledgement of how those imbalances personally manifest themselves in your bodies.

The greatest health discovery we predict you will make in the next few years is the “awareness” that you can change all your eating habits, start exercising more, have more fun, reduce your physical and emotional stress level, and let go of old beliefs that keep you sick and tired True healing, dear ones, can only come from the soul and consciousness. Outside modalities are always secondary, and their benefits can only reflect the internal changes you are making.”

The Golden Age : Bulgarian Master Peter Deunov

Peter Deunov (Beinsa Douno) was amongst the first saints / mystics of the European world who spoke of the coming Golden Age in His teachings as mentioned by the Hindu and Mayan scriptures.

During the passage of time, the consciousness of man traversed a very long period of obscurity. This phase which the Hindus call “Kali Yuga” is on the verge of ending. We find ourselves today at the frontier between two epochs: that of Kali Yuga and that of the New Era that we are entering.

A gradual improvement is already occurring in the thoughts, sentiments and acts of humans, but everybody will soon be subjugated to divine Fire, that will purify and prepare them in regards to the New Era. Thus man will raise himself to a superior degree of consciousness, indispensable to his entrance to the New Life. That is what one understands by “Ascension”.

Some decades will pass before this Fire will come, that will transform the world by bringing it a new moral. This immense wave comes from cosmic space and will inundate the entire earth. All those that attempt to oppose it will be carried off and transferred elsewhere.

Although the inhabitants of this planet do not all find themselves at the same degree of evolution, the new wave will be felt by each one of us. And this transformation will not only touch the Earth, but the ensemble of the entire Cosmos.

The best and only thing that man can do now is to turn towards God and improve himself consciously, to elevate his vibratory level, so as to find himself in harmony with the powerful wave that will soon submerge him.

The Fire of which I speak, that accompanies the new conditions offered to our planet, will rejuvenate, purify, reconstruct everything: the matter will be refined, your hearts will be liberated from anguish, troubles, incertitude, and they will become luminous; everything will be improved, elevated; the thoughts, sentiments and negative acts will be consumed and destroyed.

Your present life is a slavery, a heavy prison. Understand your situation and liberate yourself from it. I tell you this: exit from your prison! It is really sorry to see so much misleading, so much suffering, so much incapacity to understand where one’s true happiness lies.

Everything that is around you will soon collapse and disappear. Nothing will be left of this civilization nor its perversity; the entire earth will be shaken and no trace will be left of this erroneous culture that maintains men under the yoke of ignorance. Earthquakes are not only mechanical phenomena, their goal is also to awaken the intellect and the heart of humans, so that they liberate themselves from their errors and their follies and that they understand that they are not the only ones in the universe.

Our solar system is now traversing a region of the Cosmos where a constellation that was destroyed left its mark, its dust. This crossing of a contaminated space is a source of poisoning, not only for the inhabitants of the earth, but for all the inhabitants of the other planets of our galaxy. Only the suns are not affected by the influence of this hostile environment. This region is called “the thirteenth zone”; one also calls it “the zone of contradictions”. Our planet was enclosed in this region for thousands of years, but finally we are approaching the exit of this space of darkness and we are on the point of attaining a more spiritual region, where more evolved beings live.

The earth is now following an ascending movement and everyone should force themselves to harmonize with the currents of the ascension. Those who refuse to subjugate themselves to this orientation will lose the advantage of good conditions that are offered in the future to elevate themselves. They will remain behind in evolution and must wait tens of millions of years for the coming of a new ascending wave.

The earth, the solar system, the universe, all are being put in a new direction under the impulsion of Love. Most of you still consider Love as a derisory force, but in reality, it is the greatest of all forces! Money and power continue to be venerated as if the course of your life depended upon it. In the future, all will be subjugated to Love and all will serve it. But it is through suffering and difficulties that the consciousness of man will be awakened.

God is Love; yet we are dealing here with a chastisement, a reply by Nature against the crimes perpetrated by man since the night of time against his Mother; the Earth.

After these sufferings, those that will be saved will know the Golden Age, harmony and unlimited beauty. Thus keep your peace and your faith when the time comes for suffering and terror, because it is written that not a hair will fall from the head of the just. Don’t be discouraged; simply follow your work of personal perfection.

You have no idea of the grandiose future that awaits you. A New Earth will soon see day. In a few decades the work will be less exacting, and each one will have the time to consecrate spiritual, intellectual and artistic activities. The question of rapport between man and woman will be finally resolved in harmony; each one having the possibility of following their aspirations. The relations of couples will be founded on reciprocal respect and esteem. Humans will voyage through the different planes of space and breakthrough intergalactic space. They will study their functioning and will rapidly be able to know the Divine World, to fusion with the Head of the Universe.

The New Era is that of the sixth race. Your predestination is to prepare yourself for it, to welcome it and to live it. The sixth race will build itself around the idea of Fraternity. There will be no more conflicts of personal interests; the single aspiration of each one will be to conform himself to the Law of Love. The sixth race will be that of Love. A new continent will be formed for it. It will emerge from the Pacific, so that the Most High can finally establish His place on this planet.

The founders of this new civilization, I call them “Brothers of Humanity” or also “Children of Love” They will be unshakeable for the good and they will represent a new type of men. Men will form a family, as a large body, and each people will represent an organ in this body. In the new race, Love will manifest in such a perfect manner, that today’s man can only have a very vague idea.

The earth will remain a terrain favourable to struggle, but the forces of darkness will retreat and the earth will be liberated from them. Humans seeing that there is no other path will engage themselves to the path of the New Life, that of salvation. In their senseless pride, some will, to the end hope to continue on earth a life that the Divine Order condemns, but each one will finish by understanding that the direction of the world doesn’t belong to them.

A new culture will see the light of day, it will rest on three principal foundations: the elevation of woman, the elevation of the meek and humble, and the protection of the rights of man.

The light, the good, and justice will triumph; it is just a question of time. The religions should be purified. Each contains a particle of the Teaching of the Masters of Light, but obscured by the incessant supply of human deviation. All the believers will have to unite and to put themselves in agreement with one principal, that of placing Love as the base of all belief, whatever it may be. Love and Fraternity that is the common base!

The earth will soon be swept by extraordinary rapid waves of Cosmic Electricity. A few decades from now beings who are bad and lead others astray will not be able to support their intensity. They will thus be absorbed by Cosmic Fire that will consume the bad that they possess. Then they will repent because it is written that “each flesh shall glorify God”.

Our mother, the earth, will get rid of men that don’t accept the New Life. She will reject them like damaged fruit. They will soon not be able to reincarnate on this planet; criminals included. Only those that possess Love in them will remain.

There is not any place on earth that is not dirtied with human or animal blood; she must therefore submit to a purification. And it is for this that certain continents will be immersed while others will surface. Men do not suspect to what dangers they are menaced by. They continue to pursue futile objectives and to seek pleasure. On the contrary those of the sixth race will be conscious of the dignity of their role and respectful of each one’s liberty. They will nourish themselves exclusively from products of the vegetal realm. Their ideas will have the power to circulate freely as the air and light of our days.

The words “If you are not born again.” apply to the sixth race. Read Chapter 60 of Isaiah it relates to the coming of the sixth race the Race of Love.

After the Tribulations, men will cease to sin and will find again the path of virtue. The climate of our planet will be moderated everywhere and brutal variations will no longer exist. The air will once again become pure, the same for water. The parasites will disappear. Men will remember their previous incarnations and they will feel the pleasure of noticing that they are finally liberated from their previous condition.

In the same manner that one gets rid of the parasites and dead leaves on the vine, so act the evolved Beings to prepare men to serve the God of Love. They give to them good conditions to grow and to develop themselves, and to those that want to listen to them, they say: “Do not be afraid! Still a little more time and everything will be all right; you are on the good path. May he that wants to enter in the New Culture study, consciously work and prepare.”

Thanks to the idea of Fraternity, the earth will become a blessed place, and that will not wait. But before, great sufferings will be sent to awaken the consciousness. Sins accumulated for thousands of years must be redeemed. The ardent wave emanating from On High will contribute in liquidating the karma of peoples.

The liberation can no longer be postponed. Humanity must prepare itself for great trials that are inescapable and are coming to bring an end to egoism.

Under the earth, something extraordinary is preparing itself. A revolution that is grandiose and completely inconceivable will manifest itself soon in nature. God has decided to redress the earth, and He will do it!

It is the end of an epoch; a new order will substitute the old, an order in which Love will reign on earth.”

Peter Deunov- Propos on the Future – 1944

Also known under the spiritual name of Beinsa Douno, the Bulgarian Master Peter Deunov (1864-1944) was a being of a very high level of consciousness, as well as an incomparable musician, who was during his whole life an example of purity, wisdom, intelligence and creativity. For years he lived close to Sofia surrounded by numerous disciples. By his radiance he awakened the spirituality of thousands of souls in Bulgaria as well as the rest of Europe.

Some days before his departure to the other world, he was in a profound mediumistic trance and made an extraordinary prophecy in regards to our troubled epoch that we are crossing today, a prophecy about the “end of time” and the coming of a new Golden Age of humanity.

Here is his deeply-moving testament. It is current and so vibrant that one doubts that these words were spoken almost 60 years ago.

5th dimension - Protocols

A Conversation between Sananda & Author Aurelia from the Book,  "TELOS Volume 3 - Protocols of the Fifth Dimension"

 

Sananda: Understand that there is a reason why you don't like those individuals and you have had some unpleasant encounters with them. There may have been some abrasiveness perhaps, and they may have rubbed you the wrong way. Or they may have been some kind of an irritant in your life such as someone trying to exploit you, etc. Now, take that irritation and identify it. Ask yourself what is it about that person that really irritates me, annoys me or makes me angry?

Ask yourself what emotions does it bring up inside of you? How do you feel about yourself in the presence of that per­son? It will become evident to you that this person makes you feel a certain way that you do not like. Well, of course, they can't make you feel anything negative, because they do not have that power. You alone have this power. If you feel an irritation, it is because the emotions are already present within you.

Those people on your list are merely your trigger and your mirror for you to recognize what you still have to heal with­in self in order to move to a higher vibrational frequency. It really has nothing to do with the other person at all. Now, dig deeply and really look inside of yourself and analyze how you are feeling, and how other people and other mirrors in your life have triggered the very same thing. Perhaps not exactly in the same manner, but in a similar way, and look throughout your life how many times has this happened.

Sananda - Indeed, and then ask yourself the question, what have I judged or hated within myself that has created this mirror? You know very well that it is all about you, about how you feel about yourself on the deepest of levels. It is never about the other person. When you really go deep, you will come to understand that this merely represents a misunderstanding within yourself, a judgment you have held about yourself or some anger you have held towards yourself. It is about a false belief you have created about yourself. When you heal a rift that you have with another person, it is not the other person that you are healing; it is you. The other person may or may not benefit from this, but it is not your problem. The main character is you, creating your own healing.

These experiences are merely catalysts that you, yourself created, because you want to resolve the false beliefs you hold about yourself, those buried deep within the subconscious or unconscious minds. That is why they are created, to trigger a new level of healing. God is not sending you people who annoy you for his own entertainment. You, yourself, just through your own divine intent to realize your enlightenment, magnetically attract those individuals that are going to provoke your own limitations and bring them to the surface of conscious awareness, in order that you can experience what needs to be healed. From the experience, you will make a new decision for yourself if you are ready.

When you are faced with a mirror, and identify how they make you feel at first, go deeply into the feelings. The per­sons portraying the mirrors do not really intend to annoy you; they are just being who they are. When you decide you no longer want to believe this separated understanding about yourself, you no longer want to feel about yourself the way you have felt, you begin to change that false identity. You start perceiving your own worth and acknowledge that you are greater in worth and in value than the mirrors that were presented to you. And in deep emotion, in deep love and acceptance, you really make a new choice of identity about yourself. A very interesting miracle will occur.

The next time you are in the presence of that person there will be no energy; it will be completely gone because you have handled the issue within yourself. Now, another way you can resolve something when you are faced with a mirror is to ask yourself, how am I that also? Be willing to ex­perience the mirrors within yourself according to your own uniqueness. Let us say, for example, you witness someone stealing something, a thief. This really annoys you, and you begin to ask, how I am that also?

Perhaps you are not a thief and you simply cannot relate to what is going on, but yet, the irritation is there. Maybe there is a way you have stolen from yourself in a very subtle manner. The thief is simply a trigger. It is not always exact, but it will always relate to self. How have I done this to myself also?

Aurelia - I have a real fear issue around this, and here is what it is. If I have to make peace and consider as "myself" the people who have tried to mess up me or my mission or just tried to control me, and you well know who some of them are, I feel that they are going to try to come back in my life again to annoy me and mess up things for me again. My life is now peaceful and I don't want to have them in my face again.

Sananda - Did you hear me tell you to make peace with them?

Aurelia - No.

Sananda - As I told you before, it is not about them, but about you and your relationship with self. You can only do the inner work within yourself and make peace with yourself. You can rarely make peace with another person in the mirror game, especially because you are going to find that they most likely perceive everything very differently than you do. You can only heal yourself, and they can only heal themselves. They are not your responsibility.

It really doesn't matter whether you see those people ever again or not. It is not about approaching them and heal­ing everything with them, because this desire could be a projection. If they want to heal themselves they can do the job themselves. That is their business anyway. Your responsibility is to heal yourself and move on in vibration into Oneness.

Aurelia - Ok, that is the key I was missing, and I am getting it now.

Sananda - Yes, I said that when you change and heal the feeling within yourself, the next time you encounter the individual, no energy reaction will be triggered with them. This does not mean that you are going to make peace with them, and that you will have to become engaged with their energies again.

Aurelia - Sometimes you have to work with them and face them in your daily life or they may live in your house or close neighborhood.

Sananda - No, it is never about them, it is about you; they are just the trigger or the mirror. And if you reject the mir­ror, God is going to be sending you another one very soon, and a much bigger one. Not because Adama has made this suggestion, but because it is appropriate in the timing in your evolution right now. If you choose not to follow through with this, the mirrors might get bigger and more unpleasant. Not because Adama is going to set you up or anything like this, but because your own Divine Essence wills this for you at this time.

Aurelia - The reason I am asking you is that I want to get through with what Adama has assigned to me. I want to do a thorough job and understand it more.

Sananda - And you are going to find that this is going to be awesomely joyful and very empowering. Now, there are some instances when you may want to actually interact with a person who has been a trigger for you, but do it only after you have given yourself your full healing. If you approach them before, it could be disastrous. There are times when you may wish to approach another person, especially if there are hurt feelings involved. You may want to apologize for something. I am not saying you should, but your heart will know what you want to do. You will always have a feeling and a sense of what is right, of what is aligned and appropriate.

For the most part, these mirror experiences are solely for you in your relationship with self. Each time you encounter an un-aligned or an annoying experience and you bring it to a greater state of enlightenment within yourself, you bring yourself closer and closer to Oneness. You begin to feel Oneness with all things. You no longer take your life's experiences or your encounters so personally.

You realize that you created that experience, and you will be able to easily own it. When you are faced with a very strange, awkward or challenging mirror in the form of a person in your life, you will be able to own right away and say, "I created that, I attracted that experience to myself. I know that I did this, and it is an important healing for me, and I give it to myself now."

So, this is all about restoring your dignity, finding your deepest truths, becoming more empowered and getting clear. You will find that when you have done it, you will not attract these mirrors anymore. The mirrors that you get will be quite different; they will reflect your healed state Mirrors are not only negative, you know, they represent the full spectrum, as everything else does.

Aurelia - This is very helpful to me; you have said this many times before; it is not the first time, but now I am getting it much more clearly. Thank you, Sananda.

Sananda - You are welcome, beloved, and Adama will help you. This is a profound choice and suggestion that he has made for your advancement, and he will help you through the entire process.

When you can simply look at everything around you in the world, and state and feel within yourself that you are all of this also, you will know what it is to be God. When you meet your Creator, this is exactly what he will say to you: "I am you and you are me; we are the same. All that you have done, I have done also, because I have done it with you. We are one and the same."

Owning, beloved, is the greatest power of all. Owning in equality with Self will bring miracles upon miracles in your life.

Aurelia -I shall do it thoroughly.

Sananda - So be it. You will be forever very happy that you did it. This is another fifth dimensional protocol that every­one will have to go through and pass the same initiatic process that you are now facing in order to enter oneness.

Aurelia - Thank you very much. I am most grateful for your assistance at this time.

Who is Sri Sathya Sai? - Early recognition.

                                                        

Circa 1949

Traveling to Puttaparthi was an arduous affair back in the 40's and 50's. Only a handful of people had heard of the Divine boy of Puttaparthi who called Himself Sai Baba. Even the name Shirdi Sai was unheard of in those regions back then. So how did the Divine light spread?A rose will emanate its fragrance no matter how deep in the forest it buds.

A group of seekers arrived late to the old mandir one evening, having missed one of their bus. A certain lady amongst them being very tired, sought out a well in the village where she could quench her thirst. She was a very devoted soul and did not know much of Swami. Swami was then just about 19 - 20 years old. Having quenched her thirst she walked back towards the mandir to have her first darshans. Swami in anticipation of this devoted soul was already standing outside the mandir. He had made the efforts to dress himself up that day by wearing a parrot green colored gown ( wow!).

As soon as the lady saw Him, in utter ecstasy she cried "Oh! My dear King of Yogis!" and fell unconscious in the courtyard. Other devotees came around her making efforts to revive her. As she regained consciousness in deep devotion she said "Where were you hiding all these days?" Saying so she ran towards Swami to hold Him. Swami hid behind a curtain in the bhajan hall. She searched him restlessly everywhere crying " Krsna, Krsna" and fell down unconscious. Swami immediately came out running and sprinkled water on her face and applied vibhuti. He asked other ladies to fan her.

Whenever she would revive she would run around seeking Swami and fall down calling "Krsna, krsna". Seeing all this her embarrassed husband got angry. He scolded her for behaving like a mad person and asked her to keep quite. Swami told him " Nayana (Dear to the Eye), do not scold!  It is Sthala mahatva ( influence of this holy place ). Some people get influenced like this as soon as they get here." The husband agreed that there must be some power in this mandir which was making her behave thus.

The whole night the lady kept awake calling on Krsna. In the morning she told another lady attending on her "Amma, this person is GopalaKrsna. Do not be deceived thinking that He is a human being. I could see Him fanning me and applying vibhuti to me the whole of yesterday night. Did you not see Him?" Fact is none had seen Him though all of them had slept in the same mandir hall.

Next day when they were about to leave, Swami called the husband aside and told him " Please do not trouble her. She is not going to live more then fifteen days. She cannot get rid of her madness for Krsna. This is her last birth."

Later it was learned that the lady had passed away peacefully as Swami had predicted.

Two college boys from Madras set out for puttaparthi. They both were Sadhakas and had received a dream where a Divine figure had asked them to proceed to Puttaparthi. They travelled and located this place with great difficulty.

As they reached the village, one of the inmates of the mandir, as if anticipating their coming , directed them to take a bath in the river before entering the mandir. Accordingly they searched for the river.  To their astonishment, they saw two divine feet with bejewelled anklets, leading them with enchanting sounds.

They found the river and took a bath and then began washing their clothes.  They had a vision of Panduranga in form of a small boy. He would clutch His pitambara  and move away to avoid the splashing of water as they washed their clothes and would then playfully come close when there as no splashing.

The boys began wondering about the mahatva ( significance ) of this place. As they walked back the divine bejewelled feet appeared again to lead them towards the mandir and then disappeared.

By this time, Swam dressed in beautiful clothes was waiting in the hall to welcome them. As soon as they saw Swami, they dropped their washed wet clothes and rushed towards Swami, hugged Him, praised Him and wept. Other devotees gathered around watching these boys. Swami stood there smiling gently trying to free Himself but did not succeed.

One of the boys said " You thief, avoiding everybody You have come to this place! By wearing Kasaya vastra ( Ocher robes ) You are concealing divinity. Krsna, Gopala, why have you grown such hair on Your head? Your hair resembles that of Shiva, You are dressed like Krsna and look majestic like Rama. Whom do we take you to be? I cannot be without you. Krsna, Krsna, how fortunate are we to see You in human form!"

Turning towards other devotees he said " Believe my words, Do not leave Him. If you leave Him , you may not get Him again. He is Madhava ( Krsna ). He is fooling you by acting like Manava ( Human ). Do not waste this golden opportunity. Fulfill your lives. I know Him well!"  The boys kept praising Him and shedding anandasru ( tears of bliss ). Seeing them other devotees also started weeping. Swami smiling mischievously made small of the matter saying " What is this? This fellow is mad. Why do you weep?"

Before the boys arrived, Swami had foretold the ashram inmates that He was anxiously waiting for two great Vedantin devotees who would be arriving that day. So the devotees knew Swami was joking to lighten the mood.  The devotees stood there watching the boys weep in devotion. Swami consoled them lovingly.  He asked devotees to get food and ate with the boys in the same plate. He then spoke with them separately for long before sending them home the next day.

In early days, when there were not so many of us gathering at His feet, I have heard Him say, “The Golden Age will begin before I leave this body.” He has said it since and He has said several times that the new world will be ushered in before He leaves His present body. He has said it in a quiet casual voice, as if it was nothing at all. But it is in this manner that He makes all world-shattering announcements. He did not say what year that this great change of the world would take place only that it would be in the first two decades of this 21st century the beginning of the new millennium.

There are many, many workers on what the late Sir George Trevelyan used to call ‘The Forcefield of Light’ helping the great living Avatar in His work of changing the old world into the new. Among these many first grade assistants to Almighty God are two of those called Ascended Masters. These two are Ascended Master Kuthumi and Ascended Master El Morya. In the book entitled “The Light Shall Set You Free”, they have made two statements of interest that I give you here. One is ‘Avatar Sai Baba is carrying the Christ Consciousness in the world today.’ The Christ Consciousness means of course the same as the Krishna Consciousness or the Divine Consciousness in man. The other statement they make is that ‘The Golden Age would begin in 2011 or 2012′. It is explained in other parts of this same book and in other spiritual books that by the year 2011, due to the work of Sai Baba and His Helpers in the Light, a sufficient number of human beings will have raised their consciousness to create what they call ‘the critical mass’ that will bring about a quantum leap in the consciousness of all mankind to bring us into the fifth dimension from the third dimension in which we are now. And as man’s consciousness creates the world in which he lives, the Golden Age or the new Sathya Yuga will begin. Any stragglers will be brought up to the fifth dimensional level by Prema Sai (Sai Baba’s next incarnation). And, so it may seem, in the new century the members of the human race, who have suffered hell itself in the last century, will find themselves back in the metaphorical Garden of Eden talking and walking with God.
